Alan Coxhead
Alan has been doing professional audio for seven years. As a musician, he took an interest in the mixing side of things when his friend and co-owner Kenny Max mixed his band at a local bar one night. Starting out in the local street festival scene with a local company, Smith Sound, he started developing the skills needed to work in a fast paced audio environment.
He later worked his way into the Technical Coordinator role at Purdue University’s Hall of Music Productions Audio Department after working for several years as an Event Technician. Alan has certifications in Dante, Shure, and Harmon audio applications. With a preference for monitor engineering, he has filled the front of house and system tech roles as well for several national acts and local festivals.
Some notable acts he’s worked with include Yung Gravy, former President George W. Bush, Rico Nasty, The New Respects, Larry Fleet, Hotel California (National Eagles tribute band), The Purple Experience (National Prince tribute band) and the Gin Blossoms.
